2 Peter 1: 16-21
The Word of God is guaranteed by God himself. When he made a promise to Abraham, because there was no higher person to swear by God said: . . . “by myself have I sworn, saith the LORD. For because thou hast done this thing and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing, I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies” Genesis 22: 16-17
What God was saying here is an assurance that no matter the situation, His word is sure. “For ever oh LORD thy word is settled in heaven” Ps 119:82. Can you see that? His word is settled; Nothing can “unsettle” it! Jesus affirmed it that “till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall in no wise pass from the law (Word) till all be fulfilled (Mathew 5:18).
With this guarantee by God himself and our Lord Jesus, you can trust the word. It has in it an inherent ability to fulfil itself. It is trustworthy. It is dependable. The only way to go and achieve success is by the word. Every other thing has failed. The situation around is negative. Take a look around, the news are not palatable. The permutations for the year are also gloomy. Even the government and the international community are confused. But the word is guaranteed by none other than the one who made the heavens and the earth. If he says you will succeed and you believe and act on the word, your success is guaranteed. As we read before, Simon believed and took action and the rest in history.
Every other thing bows to the word. Wherever you find yourself, ask God for a word. The word of God is superior and will prevail over any other thing. Get it. Trust it. Act with it. Your results are loading.
