STAYING FAITHFUL
Joshua 23:1-6
“Be very strong; be careful to obey all that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, without turning aside to the right or to the left.” — Joshua 23:6
We witness a poignant scene as aged Joshua gathers the leaders of Israel for a final address. Aware that his time is short, he takes this opportunity to remind them of their covenant with God and the importance of remaining faithful to Him. This serves as a critical exhortation, emphasizing the need for vigilance in our spiritual lives and a commitment to obedience.
Joshua begins by recalling the mighty acts of God throughout Israel’s journey—how He fought for them, delivered them from their enemies, and granted them the Promised Land.
