THE POWER OF LIGHT FROM SCRIPTURES
Psalm 119:103-107
It has been established that the Word of God is the fuel of faith; when you access God’s Word, you move in a great dimension of faith. Now, one thing you can do with the Word of God in order to walk in faith is to attune your thoughts to light from the Scripture. This means, you can use light from Scriptures to tune your thought in the right direction. Use light from the Word of God to renovate your mentality; wash your mind, renew your mind with light from Scriptures.
Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” It is important to know that the condition of one’s mind is one major challenge in life. 2 Corinthians 10:5 says, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”
Imaginations may tell you that in your family, people do not live up to forty years, marriages do not succeed; but with the Word of God, you can cast down every imagination and thought that exalts itself above the knowledge of God. With God’s Word, you can bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. When you see light from Scriptures, you reject the negative patterns in your family; you tell yourself that what happened to your ancestors or parents would not happen to you. This is the power of light from Scriptures.
Therefore as a Christian, saturate your mentality with the Word of God always. Hear it, read it, study it, memorise it and meditate on it regularly. Let the Word be the guiding principle of your life and destiny.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that you open my eyes to behold wondrous things out of your Word. I receive the grace to renovate and renew my mind continually with your Word in Jesus name.
