ALL YOU NEED IS GRACE III
Genesis 1:24-25
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground. Genesis 2-7a (NKJV)
God created man from the dust of the earth. No one likes having dust in their house. When there is dust on your television, you want it wiped off. No one wants to have dust on their belongings. Can you imagine? God went to the mundane thing that no one esteems, that no one likes and formed man out of it. The man was useless, lifeless and cold; until grace was added in the form of the breath of life.
Without the grace of God you are useless. Without the grace of God, you would just be on the floor while your mates are living the high life. Without the grace of God you cannot make it in life. All you need is just a drop of grace! And the LORD God . . . breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being. Genesis 2:7 (NKJV). Man’s story changed when the drop of grace came; when God breathed the breath of life into him.
The Bible makes us to know that after that drop of grace came on Adam, God brought all the animals, all the plants, all the creation and asked Adam to give them a name. And the Bible tells us that the name Adam called them is what was established. The Almighty God, the Only Wise God, the Wisdom Bank could have named those things all by Himself but He wanted Adam to experience the rewards of peace.
He wanted Adam to understand and be conscious of the fact that there was a drop of grace in his life. He wanted Adam to know that just a drop of grace was sufficient to turn him from common dust to a ruler on the earth. He wanted Adam to know that whilst he was made of material that no one would have recommended, material that people may have despised; with just ‘a drop of grace’ he could fulfill God’s mandate for his life. Grace is all you need to be what God wants you to be.
PRAYER: Father I pray; release upon me the grace that lifts a man from the dust to the top.
