REIGNING IN LIFE
Romans 5:10-17
The month of February is our month of Reigning in Life. This theme is all about you understanding your place in Christ, which is a position of authority and dominion. You must reject the victim mindset and embrace the truth of our spiritual identity: you were created not just to survive, but to reign.
Your authority to reign comes from a place of abundance of grace and righteousness. It is a gift given by God, not an earned position. This means you do not have to struggle for victory, but live the victory already secured. Reigning in life is not about having political power or controlling others; it is about exercising dominion over three critical areas:
Reigning over your reactions: Choosing to respond with grace, wisdom, and patience, rather than reacting with anger, frustration, or panic. It is the spiritual discipline to manage your temperament in the face of provocation.
Do not let the complexity of the world convince you that you are merely a subject of fate and circumstances. You possess a divine mandate by reason of your new birth in Christ that empowers you to overcome obstacles, inspire others, and achieve your highest purpose. Wear the crown gracefully, reigning as ordained by God!
PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the grace to realize my position of authority in Christ Jesus. I pray for the courage to exercise dominion and never second-guess myself.
