MEGA GRACE IS YOUR PORTION VIII
Exodus 12:1-15
The Almighty God is very precise and detailed when it comes to issuing instructions. In our text today, he instructed Moses on how to keep the Passover. There must be a set day; the type of lamb, the unleavened bread; the number of days to be kept; the way the lamb would be killed; how it is to be roasted and where to put the blood. All these details were given by God. He didn’t mince words. He spoke expressly what he wanted them to do. There could be no ambiguity. Failure to keep to the laid down instructions could result in a calamity.
Let us look at this scenario: an Israelite heard the instructions from Moses and he forgot to put the blood on the lintel of his house. What do you think would happen? The angel was looking out for just one thing- the blood on the door post. The angel had just one charge: “wherever you see the blood, just pass over. Where you don’t see the blood, kill the first born”. The angel will destroy even though the family were Jews. But if an Egyptian overheard Moses when he issued the instruction and went ahead to slaughter a lamb and put the blood on the doorpost, his family would have escaped!
Beloved, instructions are for your own good. During the twelve day Destiny 2026 program, it is a given that you received instructions concerning the New Year. Keeping to those instructions is one of the keys to success this year. Whether it is to the corporate body or individual to you, ensure that you keep to them that you may reap the benefits.
Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding. . . Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
Proverbs 4:1,13.
If you want to excel this season and beyond, please adhere strictly to instructions from the Lord. Adhering to instruction and reaping profitable results can only come by Grace. Walking in obedience to God’s instructions is by Grace. The instructions might look stupid, difficult or out rightly illogical in your situation; still adhere. All you need is ask God for the grace to obey and follow instructions. It is only then that your profiting will appear. God bless you.
