WHEN GOD HELPS YOU V
Psalm 37:22-30
Divine Direction is another way God helps his people. When God directs your steps, it is a great help. Firstly, you are guaranteed of his presence in your life all the time with its attendant benefits. In Exodus 13, we are told that the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people, (vs 21-22). Thus he went with them throughout their journey in the wilderness. He never left nor forsake them. He was with them in the valley as well as on the mountain.
Beloved, are you in trouble? Ask God for direction. More often than not, it is direction you need to get solution to some of the problems confronting you. If you know what to do at any given situation, the problem is half solved. Let God lead you. He will tell you what to do. Once you know what to do and you do it, you are helped. If God gives you direction, you will overcome your enemies. Remember David? He never went to any battle without asking God’s counsel.
Once more the Philistines came up and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim; so David inquired of the Lord, and he answered, “Do not go straight up, but circle around behind them and attack them in front of the poplar trees. As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the poplar trees, move quickly, because that will mean the Lord has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army.”So David did as the Lord commanded him, and he struck down the Philistines all the way from Gibeon[d] to Gezer, 2 Samuel 5:22-25.
Learn from David. Make divine direction a priority. It is a guarantee of Divine help any day. You will not run into trouble. You will have your needs met.
PRAYER: My Father, guide me in all my ways.
