UNENDING PRAISE
Psalm 34:1-6
Praising the Lord Always
Praising the Lord Always
Praising the Lord with all my heart,
Praising the Lord with all my heart always
Alleluyah the Lord is Good
Alleluyah the Lord is good
Alleluyah the Lord is good is good to me.
Remember this worship song? In it you see the Law of praise. It is to be done always. Yes, you read that right. It is to be done always. That means all the time. We were created to give God praise. That is why we are. The whole creation is to give praise to the Lord. Both living and inanimate objects were designed to praise the Lord. Some by opening their months and some by doing what they were created for. When the plants bloom and bring forth their beautiful flowers, you know they are praising the Lord.
As a human being, your praise of God should be always. Let us read today’s text again:
I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together.I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.
What a beautiful admonition. If you praise the Lord “at all times” see what will happen; you shall always have something from the Lord that you can boast of. Nobody boasts of evil things. No. You only showcase what is good. In other words, the more he does good things that you can be proud of, the more of it will he do for you. He will be found of you each time you seek him. He will hear you when you pray and deliver you from all your fears worries and doubts. You will be of beautiful countenance and you will never be ashamed. Troubles will not overwhelm you if you constantly give God Praise. It is advisable that you put this into practice and watch what happens to you henceforth.
ACTION: Take the next five minutes to give God praise.
