GOD WILL REMEMBER YOU
2 Samuel 9:1-13
God has chosen to remember you in a big way. It is not that He ever forgot you. No way! Far be it for God to forget you.
Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. Isaiah 45:15-16
The scripture reading today shows us how David remembered the House of Saul for the sake of Jonathan. He chose to show kindness to Mephibosheth. We see how a simple act of kindness from David turned around the life and status of Mephibosheth from being an unknown and beggarly cripple; he became a Landowner with slaves working for him bringing him regular income. He also became a member of the king’s court! All in a single day! The Lord shall remember you. When the Lord remembers you, it is your turn to laugh. Lines will begin to fall unto you in pleasant places. Your heritage becomes a good one.
Whenever a person is remembered in the scripture, good things followed. We can’t forget the cases of Mordecai, Hannah, Elizabeth and a host of others. At their season of remembrance, great things happened to them. You shall be remembered. Beloved, if a man’s act of kindness can be that marvelous to Mephibosheth, imagine what God can do for you. As you step out today, God will be kind to you. He will direct your steps to meet those who will be kind to you. He will direct the footsteps of your helpers of destiny. They will locate you. When a man obtains kindness, great things happen. This month, God shall visit you in a big way, Stay blessed.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, remember me and bless me.
