ALL YOU NEED IS GRACE V
Genesis 12: 1-4
Abraham was aged and without child when God called him. And he said unto him: I will make you a great nation, I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing, Genesis 12:2 (NKJV). Can you see the impact of ‘a drop of grace’? God came to Abraham and told him He wanted to grace his life and that the expression of that grace would be as follows:
❖ He would become a great nation
❖ He would be blessed
❖ His name would become great
❖ He would be a blessing
God goes on to say: In blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice”, Genesis 22:17-18 (NKJV).
So God takes an unknown man and decides to pour His grace upon him and turn his life around. In the end the Bible says: Now Abraham was old, well advanced in age; and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things, Genesis 24:1 (NKJV). Other scriptures say that Abraham was rich in silver, gold and cattle. The Bible states that God Himself visited Abraham’s house. God referred to him as His friend countless times.
It is obvious from Abraham’s life that the Father’s drop of grace’ caused unequalled increase in his life. For a man to raise and cater for three hundred and eighteen soldiers and their families in his home, and use them to war against a king’s army and come back victorious, he must have received a special grace. For a man to command God’s attention in that God would not do a thing without first informing him, a special grace must have been operating. Grace is the lubricant that makes the wheel of your progress to be smooth. It does not ground your life’s engine Grace makes all things to flow and you become an amazement to yourself.
PRAYER: Receive the grace for significance in life and destiny in Jesus name.
