MEGA GRACE IS YOUR PORTION VII
Psalm 72: 1-20
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man that thou visited him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hand; thou hast put all things under his feet. Psalm 8: 4-6
It is no longer news that man is the crown of God’s creation. God made man to have dominion over the works of his hands. Every other creature, animate and inanimate alike is put under the feet of man. However, man lost his dominion to Satan in the Garden of Eden. But this had been regained through the cross of Jesus Christ. Jesus said the son of man came to seek and restore that which was lost. So at new birth, you have your dominion restored.
Today, we are looking at Grace for Dominion. Dominion means power, authority, control and command. It means the right to govern or rule. It implies possession of ability to wield authority or influence. When you are in charge of something or rule it, you have dominion over it. At creation God commanded that man should have dominion. As God’s image, we were designed to live like him and act like him. So when he says “Have dominion” the charge is for us to live and rule like him. Having dominion is to do so in a way that would reflect his majesty, character and authority. Everything bows to him; he is holy and just. Whatever we do should reflect these.
To have dominion is to be in charge. It does not mean absence of challenges but ability to be in charge in spite of the challenges. In fact, challenges prove our dominion mandate. It confirms what is in us and prove whether we are in charge or not. But this is possible only when grace is available. One of the definitions of Grace is Divine Enablement. No one can attain to and exercise dominion in any area without the dimension of grace. Paul said, “I am what I am by the grace of God”.
As you navigate life and destiny, please note that you are not under oppression. You are expected to be on top. The one in dominion determines the course of events around him. Sin, sickness, poverty, lack or any such thing must not have dominion over you. Wake up. Take charge and be what God made you to be. His power is there to back you up. Receive the dominion grace in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER: Father, I shall not be a waster of Grace anytime in my life.
