GRACE FOR PEACE

Galatians 5:22-23

Peace is one of the most important phenomenon in the world today. It is a must have. Unfortunately, the world doesn’t offer much peace. Just look around. The world cannot give it because the world doesn’t know the One who is PEACE-Personified.

Peace is a spirit rooted phenomenon. Therefore, it passes all understanding, (Gal. 4:7). Those who have the Spirit of peace within them demonstrate great and unfathomable stability in the midst of varieties of life’s situations and challenges, (John 14:27). We can reject the chaos of the world and embrace God’s peace. The beautiful thing is that God’s purposeful thought for our lives is that of peace, it is to give us a future and a hope in this hopeless world. The book of Philippians admonishes us to (Philippians 4:4-9 to do four things. The first is to rejoice in God and who He is. Second, bring all your worries, fears, and concerns to God in prayer. Third, fill your mind with God’s truth [word]. And fourth, choose to think about the things of God.

If you engage in the four steps above on a daily basis, you’ll unconsciously establish God’s kingdom around you. As the scripture says, Righteousness, PEACE, and Joy in the Holy Ghost: This is the kingdom of God, (Rom. 4:17). The significance of this fruit is that, as you grow same, others will get around you and get to experience what the kingdom of God is. You were not designed for troubles but Peace. It is important as a believer to grow this nature of the Spirit of God in us to live an exemplary live on earth.
