IT IS YOUR TURN TO TESTIFY
REVELATIONS 12:1-11
Sharing testimonies has become a lifestyle in the kingdom. This is because God visits us on a regular basis and does marvelous things that make us to rejoice. As stated in one African praise song. “His acts of goodness are much, and they cannot be concealed”. That is who God is and what He does. He has made us for signs and wonders and as we receive it, we must share it.
Another reason we share testimonies is that it brings more victories. The scripture reading for today affirms that they overcame the enemy by their testimonies! The more you declare the testimonies of what God has done, the more the enemy shrinks into defeat. When you declare the works of the Lord in your life, others may key into it and receive their own miracles.
Finally, testifying is a way of reminding God of His past goodness in your life and this propels Him to do more. Remember David. His testimony of deliverance from the lion and the bear brought God into the conflict with Goliath and ensured victory for him.
At times when people share their testimonies, some feel left out. They ask God questions like, when will my own come. When will it be my turn? The year is far spent; will I still have testimonies? If you fall into this category, we have good news for you. God is working on your case. Many times, when it appears like God comes late, it is because he wants to come big. This shall be your case. This month will not end until you share testimonies. And your testimonies shall be big. There will be many acts of God in your life that will be too explosive to conceal. You shall be a testimonial of His goodness and kindness. You will testify. People around you will testify.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, remember me; distinguish me and increase me.
