IT IS YOUR SEASON OF FAVOR
Psalm 102:13
If ever a man needs any factor to succeed in life and destiny, that factor is favor. Favor is to be preferred and chosen above others. A search through the scriptures would reveal that all those who had outstanding achievements in those days did so, on the platform of favor. By the grace of God, we started to enjoy the covenant of favor very early in ministry so much that from our practical experiences, we can define favor in different ways.
Favor is to be singled out for Divine Approval. It is not by qualification or any ability but by Divine choice. Among his more qualified brethren, David was chosen and anointed king. He was not even there; they had to send for him. By the reason of favor, you will receive great news soon. Favor is to receive acts of kindness over and above what is available to others. If everybody is receiving a single portion, a man of favor can be given double or more. May you enjoy favor in life!
Favor can also be described as being served first when it is obvious that it cannot go round. It is to skip others so that you can have your own. It is to disqualify your more qualified competitors to give room for you. It is to cause a Vashti to misbehave so that an Esther can be enthroned. It is to be lifted above your fellows even when you are not particularly qualified. When the covenant of favor is at work, what disqualifies others will not be applicable to you. Favor is for the lines to fall to you in pleasant places. It is what adds flavor to life. It is what makes you to succeed where others had failed.
As we consider this theme of favor in the next few days, our prayer for you is that God baptize you with favor in all your doings.
PRAYER: Lord let this be my season of favor.
