GOD CAN BE TRUSTED
Isaiah 40:21-23, Jeremiah 32:27
One thing we already know with God is that He can be trusted. His antecedents attest to His unwavering integrity. What He says He will do are what He does. He never fails. When he blesses you, no one can curse you. If he stands by you, no one can defeat you. If he promises something, you can be sure that it is guaranteed.
In this month of July, please rest assured in the knowledge that God is your Guarantor. The theme of the month is God can be trusted. Every believer must settle this truth in their heart because God is passionately committed to His children. There is no ambiguity in this theme. We are talking of the Almighty God, the Creator and sustainer of the whole Universe. He made all planets, stars and galaxies and kept them in space in the past trillions of years without anything falling off! In recent history, we know He led Israel through the Red Sea; He brought water out of a rock; and brought money out of the mouth of a fish! Definitely, He can be trusted.
You can trust His power. You can trust His wisdom. You can trust his promises. You can trust Him completely. If trusting God is difficult for you, then something is wrong spiritually. It is an affliction of the enemy, and you must pray about it. To trust God, you must remove human calculations. Trust is a spiritual posture. This month, and the rest of your years, everything will work out for you. The God who carried you this far will carry you further.
Knowing this, do these three things.
- Be secured in him. Rest in his power. In the midst of the pervading insecurity worldwide, fear not. Trust Him to keep you. Stop fretting. Nothing can touch you in His secret place.
- Trust His wisdom. He is the fountain of wisdom. Let him guide you. His instructions and principles are in your best interest. Obey and follow. Life shall be better for you if you do his “dos” and don’t do his “don’ts”.
- Trust in his provisions. He will supply your needs, whatever they are. Your supply will never run dry. Whatever your channel is; business, salary, services etc. are blessed by him. You shall be guided and directed for more provisions.
PRAYER: Dear Father, help me to put my whole trust in you. My life is in your hands and I trust in your ability to give me a better deal each new day.
