MEGA GRACE IS YOUR PORTION VI

2Peter 3:14-18

As earlier mentioned in previous studies, Grace in and by itself is big. The idea of Mega Grace is therefore very big, huge and gigantic. What God has in mind for us this season is beyond the limits of our imagination. “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him”, 1 Corinthians 2:9. God has big plans for your life and destiny. The onus is on you to upscale your walk with him to be able to enjoy the fullness of what is available.

Apostle Peter in our text admonishes believers to grow in Grace. This is what we need. We remarked that Mega Grace is an ever-increasing phenomenon. It manifests in overflow, enlargement, increase, avalanche, inexhaustible and multiplication till it becomes a beautiful and wonderful explosion. You shall not only see it; you will be a partaker. You will enjoy it to the maximum.

You must therefore grow in grace. Grace is given to each and every one of us in measures. Just like in the parable of talents, it is our responsibility as receivers to multiply the grace given. God expects us to increase what has been given. Hence he commended the servants that made profit and jailed the one that didn’t. To grow in grace, you must first identify the grace given you. What areas of life do you have comparative advantage? What comes easy for you to accomplish? What gives you the most joy and ease? An identification of this will take you to the next level.

Work on what you have. Success in most cases is one percent inspiration (Grace) and ninety nine percent perspiration (Diligence). Paul confessed that he was a product of grace, but he stated that he labored more than the others. So let diligence be your watchword. Whatever you need to do to improve on your area of grace, do it. Top up your competence level. Acquire new and better skills. Improve on your efficiency and effectiveness.

Furthermore, mind your walk with the Lord. He is the Giver of all grace. Reverence him. Acknowledge him in all your endeavours. Never see yourself as an achiever but a receiver. Be humble. Give him the glory for every grace given. Scale up your worship and praise. Be fanatic about thanksgiving. Finally, as you grow in grace, grow and mentor others. Reproduce yourself. Have grace children.

Shalom.

PRAYER: I refuse to remain and stagnate on the same spot. I shall grow in the grace God has given me. It shall be multiplied in my hands in Jesus name.
