PUT ON YOUR DANCING SHOES

ACTS 14:11-17

This day is a new day. Seeing another day is a victory. Many planned for this day but are not here today. You made it. Be glad. Give God praise. You may have seen challenges in the last few months. Relax, you will not see them again except in your memory. God has preserved you this far and He will yet preserve you.  His grace has kept you up till now and His grace will keep you till the end and even beyond this year.  If the Lord tarries, you shall see many more years and even till good old age and they shall be filled with pleasure and satisfaction.

If you look back at the past months and if you will be truthful you will note that God has done you good.  He has done great things for us, therefore, we are glad!  He has filled us with gladness of heart.  We have received goodness on all fronts. He has left himself with enough witnesses of His goodness in our lives.  None of us can compute how many kilometers we have covered this year; neither can we quantify how much money passed through our hands this year nor the calories of food we consumed.  At times, when you look at the enormity of what God is doing you wonder where the finance is coming from.  Indeed God has done us good.  He gave us “rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness; (Acts 14:17)

The beautiful part is that God has not stopped.  He still continues to gladden your heart.  He will bless the works of your hands.  Your working tools shall prosper you.  You shall have oil of Gladness.  Everywhere you go, you shall have joy.  The Lord shall cloth you with the garment of favour.  There shall be no more sorrow in your habitation. In the next nine months, you will have reasons to celebrate. You will sing new songs and dance the dance you have never danced.

PRAYER: The remaining years of my life shall be filled with gladness and dancing in my camp.
