THE PROMISE OF “OUT OF THEM ALL

Psalm 34:15-22

Your righteousness does not grant you immunity. Psalm 34:19 says: “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” This verse dismisses the myth that following God guarantees a sheltered, battle-free life but confronts us with the reality that the righteous, precisely because of their chosen path, will face many afflictions, be it opposition, hardship, pain, etc. They are part of the landscape. But our faith in God grants us something far more valuable, which is eligibility for divine rescue. It’s a promise of “Out of Them All”

When you are deep in a struggle, whether it’s a debt or financial crisis, the drain of a difficult relationship, or the sheer fatigue of spiritual resistance, it is easy to let the presence of the battle overshadow the promise of the outcome. We tend to focus on the word “many” and forget the phrase “out of them all.”

This is the heartbeat of the promise. God is not just watching you suffer; He is actively working in your darkness to bring you safely to the other side. The moment you entered the fire, He began charting your exit route. In fact, just like the Hebrew boys, He is in the fire with you. Know this: your faith is not defined by the absence of affliction, but by your absolute conviction that because God is with you, you will, without fail, be delivered out of them all. Rest in that certainty today. Do not let the presence of the battle cause you to doubt the promise of deliverance.

PRAYER: God, even if the affliction is still present, I trust your timing for total deliverance.
