TO SUCCEED IN THE NEW YEAR

we are still in the festive mood. We believe you had prayed or even fasted to enter the New Year. God has announced your progress. With Him on your side, it does not matter what confronts you, you shall overcome. You shall come out tops. All you need is God. He will never forsake you. He will help you. He will shield you. He will guide you. He will feed you. Each day of this New Year shall come to you with loads of benefits.

Every new gadget comes with instructions. Without the instructions, one may not be able to get the best from such product. The same goes with the year. If you are to maximise the good of the year, there are instructions to be followed. The first is that you must constantly hear from the Lord. The Lord spoke to Moses (vs 1). Does the Lord speak to you? Do you hear from Him on a constant basis? Where is your antennae tuned to? Is it on God’s frequency or other channels?
Dearly beloved, God has the answers to all the questions that can ever confront you. He has the solution before the problem arises. Consult Him in all situations. Hear the word from His mouth. Check the scriptures on a daily basis. Therein lays direction for the day. If God guides you daily, you will surely have a great year.
It is not only necessary to hear from the Lord, You must also walk according to the word. What is the benefit of an instruction that is not followed? Until you do the word, the word does not work. Until the Word works, there is nothing to show for all your labour. Don’t just be a reader or hearer of the Word; be a doer. It is in doing that your profiting will appear. Doing the word involves obedience to instructions; doing the “dos” and avoiding the “don’ts”. It also involves following the principles. There is also the dimension of the Spirit of the Lord. When He guides, you must follow. His whisperings are not for fun. He is there to partner with you for a great year.

Take with you words, and turn to the LORD, Hosea 14:1-2. You need to work with, battle with and utilize the words you receive from the Lord whether from the Bible, Prophet or the Holy Spirit, That is a major secret of your success this year.
