WHEN GOD HELPS YOU
Exodus 2:1-10
How does God help? We are going to consider a few of the numerous ways God helps his people, Prominent among them is his ability to send Helpers of Destiny to you. He knows that from the womb to the tomb, you need help. You cannot accomplish alone. So he sets on your path men and women who will help you in your life’s mission. There are some helpers called helpers of destiny. These are ones crucial to the actualization of your life’s goals and mission. Without them, you wouldn’t amount to anything. They are men; yes, but they are the ladders you need to the top; they are the clothing you need in the cold and the compass you need on the road of destiny.
Take a look at the story in today’s text. Moses would have been killed in accordance with Pharaoh’s decree but for his mother. He would have drowned if not for Pharaoh’s daughter. The interesting thing here is that the lady knew that this was a Hebrew child that should have died. Yet she allowed a Hebrew woman to be her nurse! This was definitely a Helper of Destiny sent by God to help Moses: first to escape death and second to be brought up in the palace in preparation for his life mission and purpose. God didn’t appear to Moses all this while. It was helpers of destiny that tutored and prepared him for his assignment.
You may not see God face to face or hear His voice audibly; but he will send you helpers of destiny. Men will run to help you. He will place men and women at strategic bus stops of your life to help you. They will be there before you need them. They will provide timely and needed help to you. They don’t have to belong to your tribe, political party or denomination. They can even be non-Christians; God will just let them have compassion on you and they will help you.
PRAYER: Dear Lord and Father, send me helpers of destiny that I need to accomplish your purpose for my life.
