YOU ARE SIGNIFICANT
Job 29:1-23
When all is said and done, we all want to be relevant. No one wants to be forgotten or termed unimportant. From today, you will not be lost in a crowd. You shall be significant. Welcome to seasonof Significance. To be significant is to be prominent. It is to be important and relevant in the scheme of things. It also connotes being on top and standing out from the crowd. As far as God is concerned, you are a very important personality (VIP). You are not a mean person. Stop looking down at yourself. See yourself as God sees you. In your original conception, God created you to be great.
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:26-27
You are not meant to pass this planet unnoticed. No. you are a creature of value. You are a creature of dominion. To have dominion connotes the fact that you have a domain where you are the king. We are told that God has made us kings and priests. Just look at Job in today’s passage. He was the man of the moment in the environment. Everyone held him in high esteem. His words counted. He was relevant in the community. He had solutions to their problems. This is even a shadow of God’s agenda for you, a New Testament believer. Arise today and enter into significance.
