YOU SHALL BE ABUNDANTLY SATISFIED
Psalm 16: 1-11
God’s plan for your life is beautiful. Look at what he word says:
“The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage; (Psalm 16:5-6).
Satisfaction is all about pleasure. It is a life devoid of pressure and stress. It is one without lack and pains. It is one where needs are met before they arise. It is a life where what is desired is available and what is available is pleasing. It is a situation of eating and using what you choose rather than just what is available. We see God taking you to that level. It is a life without sickness. It is one of sound body, sound mind and sound homes. It comes with flourishing career and prospering businesses. It talks of promising and successful children.
All these shall be your portion from now and for the rest of your life. By His grace, pressure and stress shall no longer be your lot. The Lord shall give you abundance that will satisfy you. It shall be running over. If you have been to a typical African market to purchase grains or any form of flour, you must have witnessed the Running Over experience. The women sell these commodities with containers. They will fill the container, press it down, shake it together and allow it to run over. In some cases, “the run-over” can be more than what the container should contain if it is filled only to the brim. This shall be your experience from today. The Lord shall fill your life with overflow. You shall have in excess. Your blessings shall be in the realm of abundance. You shall come to experience surplus. You will now understand what it means to have more than enough.
The running-over experience however has some secrets that if you follow, the Lord will honour and respond to. A hard working man will attract the favour of God. You can’t fold your arms and laze about and expect God to give you the “running over” experience. It is an act of favour propelled by hard work. In another instance, you must be willing to listen to God’s instructions and do what he commands.
