YOU SHALL ENJOY OPEN DOORS
Revelation 3: 7-13
One major thing common to blessed people is that they enjoy open doors. Doors are important in a building. By it entrance is gained and exit is made. Access is given or denied depending on whether the door is opened or shut. There was a man of God who came home from a journey. His wife was away with the key and the House help who had the other key was nowhere to be found. He had to remain outside for almost an hour before the House help turned up. Can you imagine? It was his house. He was a man of God. He was anointed. But he could not enter his own house because the door was shut and locked and the key was not with him!
Life is like that. It answers to open doors. It does not matter who you are, you need an open door to operate. If the door is shut against you, like that man of God, you can do nothing but wait. You shall enjoy open doors in life and destiny. But we have an advantage. Our Father is the Janitor of destinies. He holds the key to all doors. He is the Sole Administrator. He is the one that has the key of David. When he opens, no man can shut. When he shuts, no man can open (verse 7).
“I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” Revelation 3:8
The Lord Jesus is the one talking here. He says he has kept before you an Open Door. This is assuring. It talks of access. It talks of acceptance. And it also talks of success. By His Grace, you shall enjoy all these, now and henceforth in Jesus’ name. Access shall no longer be denied. Where you have been rejected before, you shall be called back and you shall be celebrated. The Lord shall make room for you and your world shall allow you to operate.
To enjoy this open door, you must do three things. You should depend on the arm of the Lord for you have little strength. You must keep his word and not deny his name.
PRAYER: Lord I pray for Open Doors in crucial areas of life and destiny.
