YOU SHALL NOT SUFFER LOSS
Isaiah 54:1-15
If you will care to read the text again and meditate a little on the promises contained therein, you will discover great treasures. In essence, God is saying you shall not suffer loss again. No, never again will you experience negative experiences of your past. They are gone forever. God is turning the tide in your favour. It is your turn to “break forth into singing” for what had caused you to weep will soon be a cause for joy. You shall gather people to rejoice with you.
We have said it before and we say it again, the past is past. It is new beginning for you. And it takes off on a note of blessing. Welcome to Blessings without limits. With blessing comes restoration. After the flood, God blessed Noah and his household and promised never to visit such devastation on the world again. It is the same thing God is telling you now.
This just like the days of Noah for me: I promised them that the waters of Noah would never again flood the earth. I am promising now no more anger, no more dressing you down. For even if the mountains walk away and the hills fall to pieces, my love won’t walk away from you, my covenant commitment of peace won’t fall apart. The God who has compassion on you says so. (verse 9-10 MSG)
Our God is good. This is an assurance that things are going to be better. You shall wax great. Your enemies shall wax weaker and weaker. You are soaring higher. There shall be no loss of any kind. Do not even think of it. Think only on him; it will get better. Make great plans. Enlarge your capacity to grow. “Clear lots of ground for your tents! Make your tents large. Spread out! Think big! Use plenty of rope, drive the tent pegs deep . . . You are going to take over whole nations . . . You are not going to be embarrassed. Don’t hold back – you are not going to come up short. You will forget all about the humiliations . . . and the indignities . . . will fade from memory” (verse 3-4 MSG)
No assurance can be greater than this. God says you should dream big. Make great plans. You shall not be embarrassed. There will be no humiliation. You shall take over nations. Be not afraid. All the indignities of the past will remain in the past and forgotten. It is a new dawn. There is hope for you. No more loss in Jesus name. Fresh beginning is your portion. Your rising is assured. You shall soar. Welcome to better days.
