BLESSINGS ABOUNDING II
Genesis 12:1-9, 13: 14-17
In our last study, it was stated that God will bless us abundantly. In our text today, we see what God promised Abram. Let us consider this patriarch. Abram was a man that did not know God. Before God met him, he used to worship idols. He was a nobody. At age seventy-five, he and his wife were barren. They had nothing; they were squatting with his father. But God met him and asked him out on a note of promise. “I will bless you”, God assured him. The blessing made a great difference in the life of Abram. If a barren couple gave birth at ages 100/90, we can boldly say that the blessing of the Lord will make you fruitful in all ramifications. The blessing shall enrich you and yours. The blessing made Abraham to become the father of nations. Through the blessing, he became wealthy. In him God laid the foundation for the future redemption of man.
Beloved, this is no ordinary season. God is set to bless you in multiple dimensions. No area of your life will be left out. By the time Abraham left the planet earth, the blessing had transformed his life and generations after still talk about him. His seed still rule the world. Hear this good news. It is the same BLESSING from the same GOD. If he did it in the life of a man that worshiped idols, he can do much more in your life. You are better positioned than Abram. You have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. The blessing will do much more in your life. Henceforth, you shall be celebrated. God shall raise your tabernacle and you shall be celebrated.
It is not just that you will be blessed, the blessing shall be boundless. It shall be without boundaries. God told Abram to look to the four winds: “for all the land which thou seest, to thee will give it and to thy seed forever “(Genesis 13:15). It was as far as he could see. From now on, nobody can limit you. Dream big dreams and leave the rest to God. He has the capacity to bring it to pass if you will trust him, obey him and follow the principles attached to your dream. Just take a look at his promises in Amos 9:
“Yes indeed, it won’t be long now,” God’s Decree. Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I will make everything right again, for my people Israel” Amos 9:13-15
PRAYER: Dear Father, I thank you for your love and your promises of bountiful blessings. I enter into the fulfillment of your promises for my life in Jesus Name.
