APPROACHING GOD’S THRONE WITH CONFIDENCE
Hebrews 4:16
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need – Hebrews 4:16
The righteous is as bold as a lion. God expects every of His children to be bold and full of confidence. Operating less is not acceptable. He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, you should not operate less than your divine destiny. As believers, we’re called to approach God’s throne with confidence, recognizing that He is a God of mercy and grace.
God’s throne is not a place of judgment or condemnation, but a place of grace, where we can receive mercy and find help in our time of need. This means that we can come to God with boldness and confidence, knowing that He is a loving and compassionate Father who delights in showing kindness and generosity to His children.
Questions need be asked. Are we approaching God’s throne with confidence, recognizing His mercy and grace? Are we trusting His promise to receive us and help us in our time of need, and living in the freedom and joy of His presence?
Some examples of approaching God’s throne with confidence include the story of Abraham, who pleaded with God for Sodom and Gomorrah, and the apostle Paul, who prayed for healing and received God’s grace and strength. We can apply these examples to our own lives by trusting God for guidance and provision, just as these individuals did.
For instance, we can approach God’s throne with confidence in times of struggle and hardship, knowing that He’s able to help us and give us strength. We can also come to God with boldness and faith, asking for His guidance and wisdom in our decisions and circumstances.
In times of uncertainty and doubt, we can remind ourselves of God’s faithfulness and goodness, trusting that He’ll continue to work all things for our good. We can also encourage one another, building each other up in our faith and love for God.
MEDITATION: God is my Father and not a bully!
PRAYER: “Oh Lord, help me to approach Your throne with confidence, recognizing Your mercy and grace. Give me the faith to trust Your promise to receive me and help me in my time of need, and help me to live in the freedom and joy of Your presence. Help me to come to You with boldness and faith, asking for Your guidance and wisdom in my decisions and circumstances. Amen.”
