MEGA GRACE IS YOUR PORTION XI
Gen. 7:1-24
Noah lived at a time when evil was prevalent. It was so bad that God repented he created man. The whole world was wicked and full of evil that it was so difficult to find a man of integrity. In those perilous times Noah was just and righteous. God trusted Noah and decided to reveal His intention to Noah. Noah’s obedience was instrumental to the saving of many lives. God gave him specific instructions as to how the ark must be built (Gen.6:14-21), Noah didn’t argue nor protested he did as he was told (vs22) and because of that God wouldn’t have to wipe out the whole earth. Likewise God demands total obedience from you. May the Grace for this be abundant in your life in the name of Jesus?
The salvation, liberation, successes and blessings of your family down to many generations is a function of your obedience. God saved Noah’s family because Noah obeyed and carried out His instructions to the letter. God’s instruction comes in various ways. It could come to you through His word, dreams, visions, still small voice or through His prophets. It is expected of you to listen and obey His instructions to the letter. Noah’s greatest achievement was building the ark that was able to house people and animals of different kinds. What is that call that looks bigger than you, just obey God’s instruction(s), He will release the grace you need to complete the calling.
Note that the ark that God instructed Noah to build wasn’t destroyed, it means the ark is still available for you as a shield from all the evils you are hearing and seeing happening to others. The same water that was killing others was responsible for the lifting of the ark (Gen.7:17-23). When you Obey God, your story becomes a different story from the others. You may go through what they go through (Psalms 23:4), relax because your outcome will not be like their outcome.
MEDITATION: Noah and his household were preserved from total desolation of an evil world because he obeyed God. Do you know that this present world will soon come to an end? Your obedience is critical to the salvation of many lives.
