TAP INTO ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES
Joshua 14: 6-16
If you do not know God, today’s topic can scare you. You will be freaked out. You will be tempted to say how can one be this blessed? But that is what God promises. Endless Possibilities means bountiful and limitless opportunities; great harvests; Joy unlimited; glorious achievements and dreamlike acquisitions. Don’t they look too daring and appear impossible? Well, God is starting it with you with the charge to dream big. He wants you to have faith in him. Don’t be afraid of what the season has in stock. All that is in stock for you is good. It is all about what God wants to do in your life.
Behold, there is nothing God cannot do. In Genesis 18, when God promised 89 year old Sarah that she would have a baby the following year at 90, she could not believe it. But the Lord said to Abraham: “Why did Sarah laugh saying, “Me? Have a baby? An old woman like me? Is anything too hard for God? I will be back about this time next year and Sarah will have a baby (Genesis 18:13-14 MSG).
That is it. Nothing is too hard or difficult for God to accomplish in your life this year. Like Caleb, believe what God says. Hold on to his promises. Look forward to the actualization. Do not waive. Whatever is your own responsibility – planning, working, praying, networking and strategizing to bring the promises to reality, do it. Caleb brooded over the promise for forty-five years. It never occurred to him for once that God couldn’t bring it to pass. He looked forward to possessing his mountain city. Now at eighty -five when the opportunity presented itself, he laid hold on the promise and possessed his possession.
If an eighty-five year old man could so run to possess what God promised him, what is your age that you cannot sprint? You shall soar. What God says may seem unachievable. Still believe. He is God. Only he can bring the impossible come to pass. Keep on trusting. Keep on believing. Keep on doing. You shall yet attain your highest height soon. Prepare to soar. It is your season of endless possibilities. But don’t waste opportunities.
PRAYER: Dear Father, I believe your word. Nothing is too difficult for you. I therefore look forward to the performance of your word in my life.
